Affordable yet nice hotels in downtown Vancouver

Does anyone know of any more affordable hotels downtown Vancouver that are still quite nice?
Was hoping for something in the $200-300 range...

This isn’t particularly helpful, but I’ve noticed that hotel prices in Vancouver tend to skyrocket during the summer months, whereas they are much more affordable in the winter.
