Wall comments don’t offer any of that. They’re just random shots in the dark with no accountability or way to verify anything.

They aren't random. They reference the posts where you made the rating.

If you are a new user with no posts, the rating will effect you more. If you are old users with lots of posts, rating wont effect you. Quarterback and Plato are good examples of the effect.

Retaliatory ratings makes it a more level playing field. But I agree - we might have to adjust how it works.
