I have dated two escorts.

It takes alot of mental power.

During the one relationship, I was permitted to have sex with other women, with the only rule being that I wasn't allowed to spend social time with them or book other escorts. This arrangement seemed reasonable, but I only ended up having sex with one other woman—a one night stand from a bar. However, I did have a few threesomes with my partner and her escort friends.

The other one was completely closed on my end. Needless to say the jealousy ruined that relationship.

You also need to be prepared for them to frequently cancel plans with you and to deal with them constantly texting other guys. I'm not sure if I would do it again, unless the rules were a bit more relaxed on my side. However, I don't think it would work well or feel safe if children were involved. And I do want kids some day.

The closest I came was hooking up with a girl I met on Tinder. It was casual until I found out she used to be an escort, sugar baby which falls in the category of sex worker. I told her point blank, I’m not going to be seen in public with someone who’s sold herself for money so our hanging out wont be dates out just at her place or mine for 1 thing. She stuck around for a few more hookups, but eventually tapped out because she “couldn’t handle” the fact I wouldn’t treat her like a normal girl and other guys were interested in her that would give her more respect.

Let’s be honest: dating a current or former sex worker isn’t just unwise, it’s a stain on your image. You instantly lose respect from other men, and you become a punchline in serious social or professional circles. No one takes the guy seriously who parades around with a woman who’s been passed around for a price.

It’s not a flex, it’s a liability. Business partners notice. Family notices. Even strangers judge it. Whether you like it or not, her past reflects on you. You become the guy who either didn’t know, didn’t care, or couldn’t do better.

I don’t care how “normalized” it becomes, there’s nothing impressive about building a future with someone whose past was for sale.

If a woman is or ever was an escort or involved in any kind of sex work, that's an automatic and absolute dealbreaker for me. I wouldn't even think about dating or being in a relatonship someone with that kind of past, the thought alone completely repulses me.

Yeah I know its ridiculous, but one is defined as buying companionship - the other buying sex. One is illegal and the other isn't. 

What ratio of escorts get clients that buy only companionship? - my guess is zero.
